Bolton drew 2-2 at FC Bayern Munich.... 2 points from 2 games, but a win could see them through to the next round.... J. O'Brien (r)(def) still injured and Campo (r)(mid) not eligible.... Bolton have produced a couple of amazing results recently under new manager Gary Megson. In their last UEFA Cup match a massively weakened Bolton side drew 2-2 at mighty Bayern Munich and at the weekend they managed to beat Manchester United 1-0 in the Premier League. Megson stated that he wanted to take Bolton back to the core values that they seemed to have forgotten under Sammy Lee. This has resulted in a series of battling displays and Bolton have not lost in their last 6 matches. Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson criticised Bolton for playing too physical at the weekend and this style will surely be a problem for Greek visitors Aris on Thursday. Bolton have drawn their first two group games but a win on Thursday could be enough to progress to the knock-out phase although depending on results in other games they could be forced to pick up points at Serbian side Crvena Zvezda in their last match. Megson will still have to do without injured right back Joey O'Brien (r), but he has a competent replacement in Nicky Hunt (sp), who surprisingly returned at the weekend after injuring his shoulder a couple of weeks ago. Central midfielder Ivan Campo (r) is not eligible for the UEFA Cup and either Speed (r) or McCann (sp) will replaced the experienced Spaniard with the former looking the most likely solution. Striker Anelka (k) was back against Man Utd and scored the winner. He brings another dimension to the Bolton offence and with Diouf (r) also fit Megson will have a very strong squad available for this game.
