The last match in Italy was in a full balance and both teams had a couple of chances to score. Fiorentina opened the score with a deflected ball, but Koevermans restored the balance with a left foot shot. PSV Eindhoven extended their good run in the Eredivisie with a 2-0 home win over Heracles Almelo and the team is full of confidence. PSV Coach Vergoossen is expected to form a defensive 4-5-1 formation and he has to make some changes. The biggest blow is the absence of playmaker Afellay. The midfielder picked up an ankle injury against Heracles Almelo and this match is too early for him. The second blow is the suspension of Farfan.
