Manager Sollied likely to field the same eleven as he did against Heracles Almelo last Friday...SC Heerenveen failed to beat Heracles in their own Abe Lenstra stadium drawing 2-2 after scoring two early goals...Defender Bak Nielsen(sp)(def) still injured while Svec(sp)(def) is doubtful...Janmaat(r)(def) is out for this Thursday...SC Heerenveen collected only a single point over the weekend. After scoring two early goals Heerenveen failed to definitely seal Heracles' faith by scoring a third, despite getting plenty of opportunities. Eventually they conceded just before the break and halfway through the second half. The Heerenveen side played in their typical attacking style and really walked over their opponent in the opening fase. The staff did really well to keep Croation international Pranjic with the club as he is one of their key players now that Sulejmani and Bradley left the club. The midfielder singed for both goals last weekend and was a constant danger to the Heracles defense. SC Heerenveen are still lacking a really efficient striker up front. They continue to play great attacking football at times but ever since Alves left them for AZ/Middlesborough the team has had trouble finishing enough of their chances. Sibon, while a great team player, is not the killer and newly signed Elyounoussi has yet to find his way up front. The talented Paulo Henrique is not ready yet to rise up to the occasion and he will start from the bench. Janmaat won't be making his UEFA Cup debut this week. He picked up an injury during last weekend's league game and he will not recover in time. Popov has returned to the squad after some injury troubles and will replace him.
