Paul Le Guen’s PSG side missed out on the opportunity to move into second place in Ligue 1 on Sunday evening as they surprisingly lost out at home to shock troops Grenoble. Profligacy in front of goal, primarily from Guillaume Hoarau cost the Parisian club and Grenoble scored on a rare foray forward to seal all three points. Le Guen would have been seething at this turn of events. PSG have really failed to make their chances count all season long and have yet to score more than once in any one game domestically. Equally, they have yet to concede any more than one goal at a time as opponents find Mickael Landreau in inspired form in goal. The defence remains shorn of youngster Mamdou Sakho, so there is only limited room for a reshuffle in this area. Bourillon may step into the breech in order to all Camara a break. Ceara is another who could be rotated out of the team as PSG have the tendency to rest a fair number of players for this competition. With options somewhat limited, the Brazilian will expect to start. Alterations are probable in midfield too as PSG won the first leg 2-1 with a seriously weakened central quartet. Makélélé is injured and could be out for up to three weeks so there is no chance of him playing while Sessegnon is likely to be called upon only in an emergency. The news on Ludovic Giuly is not ideal either as he is out for three weeks. Chantôme, a possible replacement, is also carrying a slught knock but is included in the squad. Clément and Sankharé are favourites to start. Pancrate has proven a good option on the right while Rothen should start again on the left. In attack, Hoarau will be rotated out of the side for Luyindula, who scored an injury time winner for PSG in Turkey.
