Ajax disappointed last weekend as they only managed to collect a point against ADO Den Haag...Gabri(r)(mid) Vertonghen(r)(def) and Van der Heijden(sp)(mid) still injured while Wielaert(r)(def) is not eligble...Enoh(r)(mid) and Stekelenburg(r)(gk) will travel with the squad...Only the latter seems doubtful...Ajax failed to convince in their last match before their travel to Marseille. Against ADO they initially took the lead through Wielaert after an hour of play but a few minutes later Verhoek decided the final score for ADO as he scored the equaliser, minutes after coming on from the bench. Wielaert won't play this Thursday as the defender already competed in the UEFA Cup for FC Twente. Vermaelen will probably move to the center to fill in while Schilder will start on the left back position as Vertonghen remains out. On midfield Aissati and Lindgren are expected to feature again alongside a third player, most likely Emanuelson. The versitile forward will drop a line to make room for Suarez again. He didn't play last weekend since he was suspended. Suarez is expected to feature again in the attack alongside Sulejmani and Cvitanich. Midfielders Enoh and goalie Stekelenburg can still claim starting position if they return in time from their injuries. Ajax haven't been playing very good football this season and their championship chances are very slim. Their last hope for a prize this season is the UEFA Cup where they have performered unusually well so far, winning two tough away matches in Hamburg and Florence. Enoh will likely start again at the cost of Cvitanich. The striker will move back to the bench as Emanuelson and Suarez complete the attack instead.
