They will have to ensure that their defence is as reliable as it was in Paris as any away goal could kill off their chances of progressing to the semi-finals, where it is likely they would meet fellow Ukrainians Shakhtar Donetsk, who hold a strong advantage of Marseille. Donetsk are one of the sides currently trailing the awe-inspiring club on the domestic scene, which is being completely dominate by the outfit. Their relentless march towards the Ukrainian title, which could be just a couple of weeks away, continued at the weekend as they blitzed past Chornomorets Odesa 3-1. At home against PSG this weekend, they will look to continue their strong record going. The Champions League drop-outs have already beaten Metalist on their own soil in the UEFA Cup while Valencia plundered a 1-1 draw that was not sufficient to give them a winning advantage in the tie. Meanwhile, Arsenal and Fenerbahce have also failed to emerge from the Ukrainian capital with victories this term – Porto are the only side to have won on Kyiv’s turf. Mikhalik, Kravets and Diakité, who all missed the first leg, are expected to continue on the sidelines while a decision will have to be made over the shape of the side. Dynamo started in a 4-2-3-1 system in Paris but they tend to be a club that plays a little more aggressively, with Cernat partnering Aliyev in attack. It would be little surprise to see them remain with just one in attack as they were so defensively sound last Thursday. On the other hand, PSG were never trouble, aside by the odd long distance effort. Dynamo have not named a squad for this encounter.
