No suspensions... Getafe narrowly lead 1-0 from the first leg... The Azulones are unlucky to lose 1-0 to Real Madrid; they just can't find the finish... Pato Abbondanzieri (k)(gk) back in the squad, Contra (r)(def) still out and Cortes (sp)(def) left out... Los Azulones remain rooted to the relegation zone in La Liga, but it's not for lack of trying. They deservedly but narrowly lost to Valencia midweek, before spurning a host of chances to sink Real Madrid at the Coliseum, eventually losing out 1-0. They deserved at least a point, and will take confidence from it, but the lack of goalscoring is really beginning to worry coach Michael Laudrup. Nonetheless, defensively they're improving, and will hope to protect a lead here. Nonetheless, there remain problems. Contra (r), the excellent rightback, is still out; with Cortes (sp) also set to miss the game, Mario Alvarez or an out-of-position Mario Cotelo could be in line for one of their first starts of the season, but both really lack the class of Contra. The rest of the defence should be unchanged. Licht (r) needs to improve on the left but the centre backs look strong. At least Abbondanzieri (k) is back in goal after injury. In midfield, Granero (sp) and de la Red (r) are back in contention, and the latter could slot in for the likes of Celestini (r) to offer some real defensive grit, which will be needed, but whteher it pays off remains to be seen. Pablo (k) out wide has been doing most of the attacking and that seems to be the case once more, while Uche (k) could either be partnered by Manu (sp) or Braulio (sp), as Kepa Blanco (r) is increasingly out of favour. But Getafe made their name last season through defending and that could be key once more. They won't sit back to an excessive extent, but they will waste time, run down the clock, and use all their "intelligence" to frustrate the home side, Uche being called upon to hit on the break.
