Sevilla head into this match knowing that anything other than a win in the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan will make it very difficult for them to progress from the group stages. They have won one and lost one so far, leaving them fourth in the five team group, with only latest opponents Partizan below them. The Serbian side lost at the weekend and haven't picked up any points so far in the UEFA Cup, so Sevilla should be looking for a home win to help to remedy the 3-0 defeat suffered at the hands of Barcelona in La Liga on Saturday night. Sevilla will be without Javier Chevanton, Crespo and young Argentine starlet Lautaro Acosta. Manolo Jimenez is likely to set his team out in a 4-4-2 formation with Luis Fabiano partnering Fredi Kanoute up front, before his serves an impending domestic ban for being sent off against Barca, which will see him left out of next weekend's trip to the Santiago Bernabeu. Serb Ivica Dragutinovic will be hoping for a role against his compatriots, but may have to settle for a place on the bench due to the recent return of Julien Escude in defence. Jesus Navas didn't face Barcelona thanks to a suspension, but he will return to the side, probably at the expense of Tom de Mul, who filled in at right wing at the weekend. Maresca, Fazio and Romaric will fight it out for the two central midfield positions, while Diego Capel and Adriano compete for the left-sided role.
