Le Havre must look to pick themselves up in the coming campaign after they agonisingly missed out on winning promotion to Ligue 1 on the final day of last season. This will be an eighth consecutive season in the second tier for French football's oldest club. The former United States coach Bob Bradley remains at the helm but the Normandy side have, once again, lost an exciting young talent, after Lys Mousset - scorer of 14 goals last season - was lured away to the big bucks of the English Premier League by Bournemouth. Forward Joseph Mendes and left-back Jerome Mombris are other regulars who have moved on but Le Havre have made some interesting signings to boost their front line. Mana Dembele, who arrives from Guingamp on a three-year deal, has performed well at this level in the past. Tarik Tissoudali is a Dutch-Moroccan forward who has joined on a four-year deal from SC Telstar in the Netherlands while Zinedine Ferhat could be a fascinating signing. The 23-year-old Algerian attacking midfielder, who was once a target for Montpellier, arrives from USM Algiers in his homeland and is a potential star.
