Performed beyond expectations last term after their 2023 promotion to League One. Almost secured a top half finish but faded over the last few games. Northampton Town were excellent despite consistent injury issues. Manager Brady rightly remains in charge. Looking to build on from last term. Have added some real quality in the transfer market, including three strikers and two midfielders. Experienced Eaves joins from Rotherham. ex-Manchester United youngster Wilson also comes in. Dibley-Dias loan could be promising. Injuries will still be a concern. Northampton Town struggled mightily on that front last term, though some of those players have since moved on. High player turnover could also be an issue. It may take new signings time to adjust. Northampton Town have a tricky couple of months to start the new campaign. They could find themselves with a mountain to climb if they do not start strong.

Target

A top half finish. Northampton Town were comfortable in 14th last season. They'll try to improve on that this time, though it won't be easy in a stacked League One division. They'd be happy to stay up by any means necessary.
