Nottingham Forest

In

Andy Reid (midfielder, Blackpool), Jonathan Greening (midfielder, Fulham), George Boateng (midfielder, unattached)

Out

Kelvin Wilson (defender, Celtic), Rob Earnshaw (attacker, Cardiff), Nathan Tyson (attacker, Derby), Dele Adebola (attacker, Hull), Paul McKenna (midfielder, Hull)

All change at the City Ground where Billy Davies upset the board one time too many and his services were no longer required after guiding Forest to a second consecutive play-off spot. In has arrived former England manager Steve McClaren and he certainly has his work cut out dealing with such a small squad. Rob Earnshaw, Nathan Tyson and Paul McKenna are notable departures but so far only former player Andy Reid and veterans Jonathan Greening and George Boateng have arrived. Forest look potentially weak up-front with only Marcus Tudgay, Joe Garner and Robbie Findley out-and-out strikers available until Dexter Blackstock recovers from a serious injury. Forest traditionally play well at the City Ground under a passionate crowd but unless any further signings appear there is little for them to be overly optimistic about despite the change of manager.

Target

A third consecutive play-off campaign may be the best Forest can hope for at this moment in time.
