The split between the top and bottom half of the Allsvenskan could not have been greater last year, but Orebro will be happy with their ninth place finish despite being ten points worse off than Elfsborg in 8th place. There has been little in terms of transfer activity, both in or out, so there will surely not be many who believe Orebro will all of a sudden be able to close in on the top half. If anything, the question remains whether the team can maintain their decent mid-table level of 2019 or whether the players peaked last year. The return of midfielder Nahir Besara will be a tremendous boost for the club, as he will bring experience and leadership in the middle. Orebro will fancy their chances in terms of avoiding a relegation scrap, they look too organised and solid to end in the bottom three, but in terms of progress the club don't really have lofty ambitions and are quite content with a respectable mid-table existence for as long as they can maintain that level.

Target

Mid-table in any shape or form would suit Orebro to the ground, but a slow start would surely ruffle a few feathers at the club. They should be safe from any alarms though. Prediction: 10th
