Football Season Guide

Bristol City were outstanding last term with the complete season that saw them claim the League One title and the JP Trophy. But the summer has been somewhat more difficult for them. Steve Cotterill has openly admitted he had frustration in the transfer market and at the time of writing has only added Jonathan Kodija to his ranks. That should not be too much of a problem as City produced some stunning displays last term and have kept hold of their first team displays. There is also continuity going into the new campaign. But lack of extra players may restrict their ambitions. It is difficult to see City struggling as badly as they did last time they were in the Championship and in Cotterill they certainly have a man capable of getting the best out of his resources.
