The past season was definitely one to forget for Juventus, who eventually finished 7th, 28 points away from the Scudetto winners, while also facing elimination from the semifinals of the Coppa Italia and the Europa League. However, they should be happy for avoiding relegation, something they were really close to, due to false invoices among other things. In the end, the scandal, which cost President Agnelli and all Juventus management their post, only saw them being denied a participation to the next Conference League by UEFA. The new people in charge decided to go through major changes and thus hired Giuntoli, the architect of Napoli triumph, as the new sporting director. This means that they will be looking for young talents rather than aging stars as occurred recently, while dramatically reducing costs. Coach Allegri was confirmed at the helm, as he was not deemed responsible for the recent disaster. Signs of a change were immediately evident as Di Maria, who would have otherwise stayed on, was let go together with exhausted Cuadrado, while Bonucci should follow suit. Moreover, Paredes, useless last season, was let go back to Paris. At the moment, nobody is unsellable at Juventus apart from Rabiot, even major stars like Chiesa and Vlahovic. In terms of new signings, Juventus were still not particularly active as they expect to get some cash first. However, they signed 23-year-old Weah, who is set to become a protagonist on the right wing, while 20-year-old Gonzalez should represent the future for the heart of the defence. Juventus are in need of more full-backs/wingers, while they are also on the hunt for a prolific striker, Lukaku?, and a creative attacking midfielder.

Target

Juventus are still a work-in-progress and cannot yet aspire to a top 4 finish.
