After an amazing 2018 season, Internacional had a slightly disappointing one, last year. Odair was unable to give the team the right directions after some injury issues affected the squad, and bad results started to appear. Argentinean Eduardo Coudet is the new man in dugout, and so far things have been working very well in the regional competition and in Libertadores first games, earlier this year. Coudet had been Colorados big wish for quite some time, and the relation between club and coach is currently in sweet honeymoon. Colorados brought a few full-backs but will rely on the centre-halves duo of the last two years. While very strong, Cuesta+Moledo won't be able to always play, so they will need solid replacements. Is Fuchs already fit for the challenge? In midfield, iconic Dourado remains injured, but the arrival of Musto, Boschilla and Galhardo will definitely upgrade the quality in the centre. In attack, team will heavily depend on Guerrero's good form, as there's an evident lack of decent deputies. Squad seems unbalanced with multiple good options for midfield but very few for the striker and centre-halves positions, where they have the more veteran players on the starting positions.

Target

Inter still seems a bit short in overall quality to be a title challenger this season, but will definitely be a legitimate runner for the Libertadores spots, perhaps even a top-4. Topping arch-rivals Grêmio on the table won't be easy, but will surely be every fan's deepest wish.
