A new era begins for DC United as Hernan Losada is the team's new head coach. A team that had a very bad 2020, finishing in the 13th place of the Eastern Conference, and of course didn't manage to qualify to the playoffs. Flores and Gressel were past additions for DC United but due to the Covid 19 pandemic and due to injuries they didn't manage to help the club as much as they could. So, this season they have many things to prove and to lead their team. Moses Nyeman is a young player to watch as he was already named as a world top rising star. Alongside him, you should take a look on Robertha, the new addition from Levski Sofia who scored 20 goals in the Bulgarian league. There were no major departures from DC United during the recent transfer period and that will be of course an advantage for coach Losada. A problem could be that DC United may need some more impressive additions in order to become more competitive for the playoff race. Coach Losada will be the critical factor on how he will deal with the roster and how successful the season will be.

Target

DC United can only improve from last season. How much they will improve depends on the health of their star players. If Gressel and Flores remain healthy for the whole season then DC United will fight for a playoff spot.
