Football Season Guide

The Revs were the darkhorse of last season that got in fit just at the right time and they managed not only to qualify into the playoffs but to reach also the Eastern Conference Final in which they were eliminated by Columbus. Gil, Bou, Buksa and Turner remained in the team and they will be again the key players for a productive season. Buchanan will be a major contributor too, as the youngster is improving a lot. Diego Fagundez on the other hand was the major departure from the team as, after ten years, he went to Austin. Experienced left back Buttner also left the team but Mafla was already signed in in order to replace him. Everything will depend on the health of Carles Gil, but also Bou, Buksa and Turner. Without them, the Revs will be a totally different team but if they are playing altogether then they can target even the MLS Final.
