It has been a tough summer for Wolves after a takeover dragged on. But that has now been completed and they can look to the future. They have only signed keeper Andy Lonergan at the time of writing but now Kenny Jackett has been given money to spend. Jackett is still in his job for now but there is uncertainty over his position especially now that Jez Moxey, the chief executive for the last 16 years, is leaving Molineux. Much will depend on which players come in because the club appear lightweight in all areas as things stand. The departure of Benik Afobe last season hit them hard and he has not really been replaced. Sorting out the striking issue is going to be a key priority for Jackett.
