Kidderminster prepare for another assault for the play-offs having failed narrowly in their last two attempts to put their hat in the battle for promotion. The Harriers have been a very consistent and solid team over the last few years since Steve Burr has taken charge but he will look for his team to make a real statement in the coming months and give it a better shot in the chase for promotion. However, the squad lost some important players as Luke Jones and Nick Wright departed for Mansfield. However, Marvin Johnson, Anthony Malbon and Ryan Rowe all showed plenty of promise since joining from lower clubs in the latter stages of last season and now the manager will expect them to step up and deliver the goods. Another new name coming from lower ranks is Cheyunne Dunkley who was followed by a number of clubs higher in the pyramid but choose to make the step to Kidderminster where he will have a chance to start more games. Ryan Austin is a good addition in defence too and overall the squad has a useful look about it. If they can become a bit more consistent and solid at the back, they might have a better chance to break the glass ceiling and enter the play-offs.

Target

A play-off spot but the competition is big and a place in the top ten is more likely.
